Sophia Jennings (b. San Francisco, CA) is a writer and filmmaker based in London and Los Angeles. 

Most recently, she wrote and produced the short film Pigs (dir. Julia Jackman), which premiered at the BFI London Film Festival. Previously, Sophia worked as a writer’s assistant to Justin Britt-Gibson (Counterpart), supporting him on Damon Lindelof’s Star Wars feature at Lucasfilm. An alumna of London’s Soho Theatre Young Company for writers, Sophia’s pilots have been recognized in competitions including The HollyShorts Film Festival (Semi-Finalist) and the Thousand Films Writing Competition (Special Praise), hosted by Sid Gentle Films (Killing Eve).

Sophia began her career leading scripted development for a production start-up founded by Scooter Braun and BBH, before joining Jameela Jamil as her Head of Content. Today, Sophia works with brands on digital content including projects for Meta, Runway, Character.AI, Masterclass, DIOR, Victoria’s Secret, The Period Company, Chandelier Creative, and Hollywood stylist Karla Welch.
